About IndyToy

The Concept

The Independent Toy Exchange is developing a proprietary network designed to connect small independent toy retailers to profits. By combining unique technology solutions with like-minded store owners, the Independent Toy Exchange aims to provide improved search results and a national footprint for small independent toy stores. This multi-channel retail capability is being developed to make the aggregate power of a shared network of independent retailers more attractive to manufacturers of new toys than competing big box outlets are -- shifting the advantage from large, powerful retailers to small, local owned and operated stores.

The Management

The Independent Toy Exchange is in the process of recruiting a president with software industry experience. In the mean, the company is being run by its parent company management team. The parent company's management team includes an executive with over 9 years experience as an owner manager of a small retail outlet, another executive that is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was in the top third of his class, and the Wharton School of Finance, where he was second in his class of 406 and previously served as assistant general counsel to Mattel, a CPA and a growing team of consultants and advisors.

The Parent ( Netoy.com Corp.)

Netoy.com was one of the first online toy companies. In late 2004 Netoy began taking steps to restructure its operations and explore new ways to impact the toy industry. Since that time, the company has totally changed its management team and taken many steps towards refining its business model. The existing Netoy.com retail site, which has allowed the company to experiment with new ways of generating traffic efficiently, currently carries a variety of preschool toys and preschool activities.
